I tested some new comic brushes specifically for this, decided I didn’t like how they felt and went back to my same old brushes :’D Oh well~…The scene is heavily inspired by the song “What will you leave behind” from the Spiritfarer OST (link is as usual in the lyrics); It is also a sort of prequel to another Joe/Nicky piece I have in the pipelines. I think Nicky is smn who struggled for a long time with his believe system, what it made him do, how wrong he was and how many he hurt with this misguidance. But how could he possibly deny that there is some greater power at work given what he has become? What Joe is too? And how it led them together? At the same time I think Joe has an easier time forgiving Nicky, especially because he sees how much he regrets and tries to atone, and offers him a guiding hand to help forgive himself as well.
