To be honest I don’t know how to draw monsters. I mean, I always draw pretty things and people come out prettier on my portraits (at least that’s the comment I keep hearing), so when I’m faced with the task of creating an ugly ghoul or something, I’m just like: “Okay, reference time! Does anyone have a bestiary?” The one I used for this, is this one: “Bestiariusz słowiański..”, ilustrated by Paweł Zych and Witold Vargas, and its glorious.
