Yotsuba&! I just love this manga (漫画)! You may have seen photos of a little green-haired figure or those little cute cardboard box dolls doing adorable or heart-warming things all over the internet. If you’ve ever wondered what they’re from, it’s from this comic, created by Azuma Kiyohiko, the genius behind the also-hilarious high-school comic series, “Azumanga Daioh” “Yotsuba&!” follows the everyday life of an energetic, green-haired little girl, Yotsuba Koiwai (小岩井よつば) as she goes on adventures with her neighbors or her dad (adopted father, as no one knows where she’s really from). It’s adorable, funny, and the art in it is superb. The characters are drawn in typical-manga style, but the backgrounds and everyday objects are drawn to painstakingly realistic detail.
