Dear Tumblr fam, some of you might already know that early yesterday Anton Yelchin was killed in an accident outside his home. I chose the picture you see above because this is how his friends and co-workers have canonized him as this; kind, funny, curious, talented, wise beyond his years and known to touch the lives of everyone he met. Star Trek has always been a place for curiosity and celebration. Whether it changes us in the small ways or the big ways, brightens our days or inspires our futures, it has touched some part of us that we continue to come back to. That we continue to celebrate in our own personal ways. Though he is not here any longer, we believe Anton will continue to be part of this legacy and community long after he’s gone. Thank you, Anton. For what you have given us and the work you leave behind that will continue to give. Our condolences to the Yelchin family and his friends. -- source link
