I took this photo for my story “Riding the Unicorn”. This was after 5 in the afternoon in downtown Houston. I was kind of nervous, frankly, to do this thing with the underwear around my ankles in the middle of town. If I’m not completely relaxed and feeling the opposite of nervous, I can’t pose for photos. So I finally relaxed about my environment - I think in reality very few people notice or care what you do in street - and we took some photos. Unfortunately a storm was coming and we had no idea. It got suddenly cloudy and a terrific wind was blowing, so we didn’t get to take many photos.
