Stela of Osiris Str-au, said to be from Abydos. This painted limestone stela was erected in the mid-7th century B.C.E, prossibly in the Temple of Osiris at Abydos. The deceased, “who used to praise the god in Luxor,” and his family members are shown standing before an offering table in the presence of the sun-god Re. (Text: Semitic Museum).
