ao3org:Last week, the Archive of Our Own experienced several hours of downtime caused by a misbehaving firewall. While we kept our users updated through our @AO3_Status account, we also felt for our tiny pool of sysadmin volunteers who have to spring into action whenever our servers are on (metaphorical) fire. We thought some kitten pictures couldn’t hurt, so we asked for some gifs to share, and you all came through. Many AO3 users tweeted us pictures of their cats, which was quite unexpected and lovely during those stressful hours.In return, here are some pets of our own!
