has to perform with girls. two of them. this excited him incredibly - he’d always gotten along a bit better with girls, and being in a group with yuqi’s girlfriend definitely put him more at ease about the week ahead. this week, though, was different - practise would take place in a practise room at one of the company buildings, and when they’d told him which company his group would be training at he’d almost screamed with excitement. he’d be practising in the same building as sicheng, meaning he’d probably be able to sneak off to the bathroom for a little rendezvous at some point.first things first though, befriending his new teammates. being best buddies with yuqi meant xuxi already knew yuri, but he’d not spoken a a single word to sakura before, but remembers complimenting her and kenta’s chemistry last week. so, on their first practise day, after freaking out only a little over where he was going for the week, xuxi finally ended up in the right practise room, a box of cupcakes in his hand for both his own group, and the one they’d be sharing the room with. as was customary with xuxi; he always presented his teammates with some sort of food or drink to break the ice. introductions go well once everyone’s there, and though they soon split up to work in their trios, the energies light and comfortable in the room. xuxi isn’t quite sure what the girls are like, or what they’re likely to most want to perform, so they bounce ideas around for a while, and xuxi makes sure they know he doesn’t mind performing something more feminine if they’d prefer that, as it’s always more fun for him. so, soon enough, they pick a song and start working on who sings which bits, which doesn’t take too long, thankfully. it’s odd, xuxi notes, practising in front of another group - it almost feels like they can’t let their competition see what they’ll be doing, like in most other competitions. but he supposes it’s all down to skills, and they can’t exactly steal those. the hardest part probably is adjusting the choreo just a bit to work for three people rather than four, but they soon get it sorted, simply moving where one of them stands here and there. overall, it’s fun, working in a group with another group close by working just as hard. he knows they’re being filmed, and is glad that none of them seem to behaving to force friendliness with each other. but, xuxi can’t just be in the trc buildings all week without sneaking off for a very short rendezvous with sicheng in the bathroom - it would be a waste after all. so, texting his boyfriend he excuses himself to the bathroom and hurries off, spending a good few minutes preoccupied in there, before returning to a concerned room of people wondering where he got to. he settles for the old ‘had mexican food, don’t go in the bathroom for a while’ story, knowing the more disgusting things are the less likely people are to ask questions - and his cheeks are a bit flushed as though he were just spouting lava from his rear end. thankfully, no one asks, and the moment passes. xuxi could get used to this. if he ever gets signed to trc he might just have to pretend he’s got digestion problems to explain his prolonged disappearances to the bathroom. throughout the week they work on getting the song to sound good with their voices together, along with perfectly timed adlibs and harmonisation. the dancing isn’t at all hard for xuxi to get the hang of - it’s a visually pleasing dance with some nice points, and his only downfall is his lack of long hair to hold up at the point in the choreo where they all hold their hair up above their head (odd, but a nice touch, he supposes).throughout the week they bond with the other group in the room with them, at one point even end their day with a game all together. it makes the atmosphere in the practise room the next day even nicer, and they feel more like a group of friends just split into two but still all together, rather than a whole bunch of strangers packed in together working separately. but then, after a long week, the day finally comes for them to perform. as each week passes xuxi gets more and more nervous - he’s chalked it up to having higher hopes every week, and wanting it so much more. if he got eliminated now, when he’s so close to making it, he’s not sure how he’d handle it. this is all he wants - to be signed to trc, so he can finally stop feeling like he’s running at a solid concrete wall, no hopes of ever breaking through.their outfits for the day of the filming had been chosen on an evening when they headed out to a nice little place xuxi knew, and managed to find three suits in complimenting colours to each other. the suit was something xuxi thought he very well might wear again, so it was a great find either way. on the morning of the filming he gets dressed, slaps a bit of light makeup on, and heads out to the studio, this one a newer, scarier one it would seem, as his eyes scour the inside once he arrives. the chairs are more intimidating this time, the amount being so few that it makes xuxi’s head spin with nervousness. there’s so many hopefuls here who have put so much into this now that to go home would be devastating. he finds his seat, right between sakura and yuri, and gives them both an encouraging smile, trying to remain the high energy, friendly and optimistic figure he’d been all week, even in the face of something terrifying. the prospect of this all ending began to loom even darker over his head in recent days, and he was beginning to fear the outcomes of each week, knowing that after this week, only two remained. xuxi and the girls are to perform sort of in the middle of everyone, so he has a little time to breathe and prepare himself, though the performing part isn’t what’s really scary now, it’s only afterwards, after the  interview when he has to sit and wait for his fate to be decided that he begins to get scared. but, then it’s their turn, and, in their soft-coloured suits they make their way to centre stage. they each bow, introduce themselves, and move to their starting positions. xuxi starts knelt on the floor in front of the girls, who stand with their backs turned just behind him, hands on their hips. 이리 와 이리 와 이리 와이리 와 이리 와 이리 와it’s soft, pretty, and though they had to play around a bit to work with xuxi’s deeper voice, it still sounds nice- at least he thinks so. he stands, still staying in front to begin dancing with the girls who began when he started singing, the movement starting as just a circling of their hips towards the judges as yuri takes over singing. xuxi moves to replace yuri in the back as she moves forward to sing. they keep dancing, punctuating the beats and certain words with their movements. xuxi noticed how pretty yuri’s voice was when they began practising, having admittedly not paid enough attention before, despite knowing factually that she was good, it had taken them working together for him to fully notice and appreciate it. 붐 까까꿍 타다둥리듬에 몸을 맡겨뻔뻔하게 놀아 라라라as he begins to sing again he moves back to the front, swapping with yuri again as she join sakura just slightly behind, staggered in a ‘v’ shape. the dance moves at this point are a little sensual, with a hand sliding down his body as his hips sway and knees bend, but he has fun with it, sending a wink to katie lee when he sings ‘trust your body to the rhythm’.xuxi particularly likes the dance part over ‘라라라’, where they drop to a squat and bounce slightly. he took a long time perfecting this, since it looked way better when the girls did it, almost effortlessly so. turned out his boyish posture was the culprit, and so once he arched his back a little it looked far better. the feeling of the song slightly changes as xuxi moves back, this time to join yuri as sakura finally takes the front position, beginning her singing part. he’d initially been rather surprised the first time he’d seen her - he’d thought she’d be a singer, or maybe a dancer, but it hadn’t really crossed his mind that she might be a rapper. although she didn’t look like a typical rapper xuxi was determined to sing her praises. sakura was talented, hard-working, and he was honoured to have gotten a chance to work with her. yuri too; both of them definitely deserved their spots in the competition. xuxi likes to think he does too. one sakura’s part ends and yuri takes to the front again, xuxi continues to dance, just letting himself enjoy it. then, walking forward as they take on a diagonal line, he lifts a hand to ruffle his hair as they sing ‘뻔뻔하게 즐겨’, then over ‘drop drop drop’ they each bend their knees one by one, turning their bodies to face the side, one hand settling on the inside of their leg before they pop back up and xuxi belts out ‘고고베베’. the girls hop forward and as yuri begins to sing they dance in a line, miming adjusting a tie when she sings ‘suit and tie’, then as sakura takes over singing yuri and xuxi move to flank her a step behind, back into the ‘v’ shape once more. then, again xuxi finishes with ‘고고베베’.뻔뻔하게 놀아미친 듯이 즐겨as they all begin to sing together they have a moment where there’s no strict choreo and they simply jive to the music for a moment.필요 없어 wrong and righton and on, on and on고고베베as xuxi takes over singing though the dancing begins again, him stepping froward out of the line and taking a step over from where he stood at the end of the line to stand in the centre slightly forward, making sure he hits his mark before the ‘고고베베’. 이리 와 이리 와 이리 와이리 와 이리 와 이리 와they dance through the chorus, all hips and beckoning hand movements, xuxi in front for the first part, but after yuri’s ‘고고베베’ he steps back so they’re in a line and as the girls hold up their hair he lifts his hand into the air to smoothly point to the ceiling, since he doesn’t have long hair to hold up. they have a few beats to get into a line, sakura at the back, before xuxi and yuri lean out to the sides, looking back at sakura with a hand on their hip as sakura’s rap part begins. they move to the sides slightly to make room for sakura to walk between them and closer to the judges, their dancing smooth and slightly sexy with the focus on the hips and arms again. this part xuxi knows they’re framing sakura and her rap, like the petals of a flower framing the sweet nectar in the centre. their job is to make the performance visually pleasing in that moment, while sakura carries it vocally with her rap skills. as the end of her rap nears they move to the side and slowly form a line again, xuxi ending up in the centre for his next lines.It’s ok to not be fine괜찮지 않아도 괜찮아his movements are smooth through his lines, and he stays where he is on the stage as they form a diagonal line one more, singing ‘뻔뻔하게 즐겨’ together before sakura sings the ‘drop drop drop’ part and again they repeat the dance move where they bend their legs one after another, turning their torso’s to the side. then, they bounce back up in time for xuxi to sing ‘고고베베’ again.they cycle through a repeat from when yuri begins to sing ‘던져 버려 suit and tie’ until they get to the bridge where they stagger dance moves, starting with yuri, through xuxi, then to sakura who begins the bridge, until they lower themselves to the floor. as sakura’s lines move into yuri’s they move back to their feet, moving to dance in a diagonal line as before, dancing through yuri’s lines till they move into a straight line for xuxi to sing ‘이제 시작해 워’, then after yuri’s following line, the music with a heavy three beats, doing a vertical, large clap to each, hips thrusting forward on each beat, before xuxi sings another ‘고고베베 ‘.again they go into a repeat from ‘suit and tie’ this time xuxi coming in for long adlibs following ‘드레스 코든 bling bling bling’, until they get to the ‘고고베베’ at the end of the last verse, xuxi drawing it out this time as he dances, pushing as much energy into it as he possibly can now, at the very end, making sure they end on a solid, strong note. 이리 와 이리 와 이리 와이리 와 이리 와 이리 와they finish the song short, instead of going into another ‘고고베베’ they edited the music to fade out. it had taken a bit of tweaking, but they finally had gotten something that sounded like it was meant to be that way, and fitted the choreo to make sure they ended in a line. chests heaving xuxi holds the ending positions, eyes locked on the camera, and he can’t help but smile at it, before bowing to the judges and making his way, alongside the girls, back to his seat, forehead shiny with perspiration, chest still rising and falling quickly, but there’s a smile still on his face, as he can’t deny how much he enjoyed that. as with every week, he tries to reassure himself that things went well, that they were great, and that now all he can do is wait, and that there’s no use in freaking out worrying about the results, when he has time to now enjoy the rest of the performances. whatever happens, happens.xuxi just hopes to whatever gods there maybe that he makes it.  -- source link
