Bruno Taut, I love the japanese culture, 1934. Cover of a book with Taut’s essays in german. Via reimer-mann.Taut was highly known by his theoretical works, writings and buildings he designed. As a jew and socialist, he had to leave Germany 1933 and move to Japan. There he produced an influential book of Japanese culture and architecture, comparing historical simplicity with modernist discipline. 1936 he went to Istanbul, where he died in 1938. -- source link
