Found this 2 year old wip i thought i’d post, it was for my North of Nowhere au stoick and gobber had a special spot on the island where they’d stand and talk and watch the boats go by, so once stoick dies they erect a statue of him at that spot and gobber comes and talks to him everyday. hiccup is in the process of modernizing the island of Berk and gives gobber his first cellphone (jitterbug or nokia) so he stops disappearingNorth of Nowhere -- source link
