As in, oh look, the whole world’s publishing houses are represented at this prestigious event to do book deals across Europe.So Ylva is over the moon with news that our CEO Astrid Ohletz has been asked to speak at an event organised by the German Publishers and Booksellers Association (Börsenverein des Deutschen Buchhandels).The event is aimed at newly minted translators. Astrid will speak about how translators can start finding clients (publishers and self-publishers), and what publishers are looking for in translated books and translators.This is a topic right up Astrid’s alley because Ylva has been at the forefront of translating women-loving-women books into multiple languages for years, including German, Italian, English, and Spanish. -- source link
