marvellouslymadmim: I’ve got a new Calanthe/Eist AU coming this week and I am SO DAMN EXCITED to start this new journey with y’all!!!!Posting begins Sept 1 (because yeah, I like a good, clean start, on the first day of the month). Updates will be 2-3x a week. It’s another longfic, bebes. Happy First Birthday, Monstrous!!Easily one of my favorite stories to tell. Mixing my favorite elements (dark fairy tales, fantasy, even a bit of lunar science) with some of my favorite idiots and using it as a personal playground to explore my favorite topics: choice, the activeness of love, destiny vs fate, and what it means to love and be loved unconditionally, all bundled up into a story about two very human monsters who were raised by some very monstrous humans. It also brought one of the very best humans in the world into my life, which is my very favorite thing about this story.Because sometimes it isn’t entirely about the story.
