verysharpteeth:sebastianstoned:#werk it soldierPart of what makes the Winter Soldier so terrifying is the fact that he literally is in no hurry for most of this scene. It’s the cold inevitability that he will eventually catch up to you no matter how much you run and he doesn’t really even have to work up a sweat. He moves like something stalking prey, all languid grace and power. But interestingly his moves aren’t mechanical. The saunter, the squared up shoulders, all of it looks disturbingly like Bucky before he went off to war. He carried himself the same way. That disappeared after the torture and his movements became more contained and less swaggery, but this bit reminded me so much of Bucky walking down that alley. It was both brilliant and heartbreaking that you can see so much BUCKY in the Winter Soldier. It’s almost like a possession where you know something isn’t right about the person, but some of them is still acting like themselves. -- source link
