Karla Flores is known as the ‘Miracle Woman’ in her home of Mexico, after surviving a grenade fired into her face. The projectile was fired with a grenade launcher, lodging in her face but not exploding. Four brave medical personnel, along with two explosive experts from the Mexican army, took Karla to an open field to operate on her.
