Lens and Wig Review: I-Codi Lavender and Sweety Nudy Ice BlueAfter a month off, we’re back with more Uniqso reviews! Lots of items under this cut, including a pair of purple lenses I really like and two interesting lacefronts! For anyone who’d like to order from Uniqso in the future, don’t forget that you can always receive a 10% discount off everything (even already discounted stuff by using our coupon code CBC with the link: http://bit.ly/2pkrODcI-Codi Colors Of The Wind No 35 LavenderDiameter: 15mmWater Content: 38%Base Curve: 8.6mm It’s been a while since I tried my last pair of I-Codi lenses, and I’ve forgotten how much I like this series! They’re more comfortable than I remember, larger than I remember, and as always the colors don’t disapoint. There are actually SEVEN different purples that this line offers. I picked lavender, which is closer to the blue side of the spectrum. Comfort: 4.5/5. Love these. They’re very comfortable off the bat and I had no issues wearing them for a shoot. My other lenses in this line did tend to try out after a full day at con, but overall I have no trouble.Enlargement: 4.5/5. I think these are significantly more enlarging than the more muted colors in this line (green and brown) - something about the super vivid pop just really helps them stand out.Color/design: 5/5. Sorry, guys, I really love these. They’re a really bright, vibrant purple especially up close (which can be a little difficult to find), but at the same time aren’t over the top unnatural because of the lack of an outer ring. I think they’d be versatile enough for pretty much any sort of cosplay.Sweety Nudy Ice BlueDiameter: 14.5mmWater Content: 40%Base Curve: 8.6mmComfort: 3.5/5. Sweety lenses unfortunately tend to give me trouble, but only with my left eye! I think this is due to my astigmatism, since the right eye is always really comfortable. You may want to be wary if you have a low base curve.Enlargement: 4/5. Not a huge pop, but they’re definitely dramatic due to the design.Color/design: 4/5. Like most nudy lenses these are pretty natural-looking colo-wise, although the outer rim is pretty dramatic. My eyes are a blue-green color, and the resulting tone is a pretty dark aqua which I imagine might vary depending on what color your eyes are. Very pretty, but don’t expect anything super dramatic.Elegant Blue Lace Front WigType: Lace FrontWig length: 70cm Reverse Ombre Blonde Lace Front WigType: Lace FrontWig length: 40cmI’ve tried Uniqso’s premium lace front wigs before and really liked them! These are two more styles in their line, and both are constructed pretty similarly - they’re VERY thick and the cap size is about average. My head is 21" and it fits just fine, although if you have a particularly large head you might have some problems. The blue style is very similar to the rainbow wig I previously reviewed - all of the hair is trained backward from the scalp with very, very full coverage. The roots are pretty darn dark so it might be tough to use this for cosplay, but I really like the fade into blues and whites. It’s just a very pretty wig overall. The second lace front I think is meant to be more natural, and is a dark brown root that fades into blonde. I like this style a lot, although my one complain is the asymmetrical bangs. They’re SO thick that they actually need some feathering out and trimming because otherwise they have a tenancy to look pretty blunt. I’d use a razor comb to fix that up, but once done this would be a pretty good option for casual cosplay or everyday wear. -- source link
