cosmoglaut:miadifferent:Plot Speculation: The JourneyToday we saw Holmes and Watson arriving at Baker Street with several bags, Mrs Hudson awaiting them at the entrance (worried?), and Billy/Archie the houseboy helping them with the bags. They obsiously returned from somewhere not-London.So, where the hell have they been? And why?The only maybe-crime related incident we know of is the suicide (and maybe-murder) from the Lady in White. This probably happened in London. (Because there were London related posters on the set in Bath). Then there’s Tyntesfield, where they did a lot of filming, but we have no idea, what actually happened. So could Tyntesfield in whole actually be a location? Some manor where Holmes and Watson investigate? Is this still related to the Lady in White case? or is this a new case? What does the ACD canon suggest?Do we have several small cases/stories instead of one? (picture)I was thinking of Tyntesfield too. I think it was something Sherlock and John (and maybe Mary - have to check for that) investigated, whether in relation to Lady in White, can’t say one way or other. Gloucester, I believe, is possibly more related to Lady in White. But that’s not from where these two are returning. Wait. They’re returning in the morning. Maybe they spent the previous night investigating aka Bristol Cathedral filming part? Hmm will have to think. There are a TON of ACD stories where Sherlock and John spend the night somewhere random outside of London. :)But then we were also speculating about Shoscombe and Musgrave, both of which work with having to be outside of London… -- source link
