prklzy:lookatafterschool:how sad is this?[ We would really love it if all of our followers would reblog this post in an effort to spread the word and hopefully end up taking the next step to #saveafterschool. ]A major part of the problem is that too many people within the fandom blame the company’s ”mismanagement” rather than facing the fact that the truth is even scarier. Pledis is having a severe amount of financial struggles (read more here). After School’s official website is not even up and running anymore. Please let’s not hurt other Pledis artists by blaming Seventeen’s debut on the reason After School has not returned to Korea. Keep in mind that the debut of Seventeen has been pending since the “Virgin” era which was about four years ago. If Pledis did not debut Seventeen soon, they would loose whatever hype was left and therefore be in a position that is even worse for our girls.Rather than placing blame and waiting around doing nothing, let’s just look at what Lizzy is trying to tell us. After School wants to come back, but they can’t. It’s tragic, but it’s also just that simple. However, thankfully as fans we are the only ones with the power to actually bring them back! How?- Go subscribe to pledis official youtube. Watch music videos directly from there, Pledis will receive money from the advertisements.- Use the hashtag #saveafterschool ( to maximize awareness ) and share official videos on twitter, facebook, and tumblr. ( Note!: Even if you think your followers or friends will not like it, if they click on it and the ad plays the money is still earned. )- Don’t forget to also only watch and share performances from the official music channel’s youtube accounts. ( mnet, music core, inkigayo, music bank )- Album sales is the biggest problem that Pledis is having at the moment, so STOP ILLEGALLY DOWNLOADING! It’s only about a dollar to actually by the song. Think of it as a personal donation towards the survival of their career as After School members. If everyone of our followers deleted all of their unpaid for music and then bought it instead, that is probably at least $2,500 towards the fund for their return. Though there are multiple ways you can purchase it the mp3s, the itunes link is here.- Buy the actual albums, make the sales go up and get the merch to make you feel like it was worth the money. Unfortunately as I notices their website has been taken down I am unaware of places besides their japan website and sites listere here that you can directly buy your product from After School. If somebody knows a easier way to buy Korean product please share it with us! Especially since that is preferred because that way the profit is going entirely to their Korean fund.- DO NOT BUY FROM EBAY OR AMAZON OR FANS WHO ARE RESELLING. Be practical, If you are going to buy it anyway buy it from them first hand to maximize profit for After School. The album you are going to buy from secondhand vendors has already been paid for no matter what and you are only slighting AS the chance to make another sale. So think about it that way.- Go join their fancafe, their numbers have been plummeting as their hoobae have flown right past them comeback after comeback. Let’s bring them back up again. ( helpful articles: one. two. three. four. )- Like and share their facebook page!Fans have begun to speculate an inevitable disbandment for After School within the next year or two if a comeback does not occur. If we sit around and do nothing, that will happen. The only way idols make money is through the support of their fans. Without popularity there is no sponsor, no sales, no offers, and no comeback. Let’s step up! ( get it? ha haha )#SAVEAFTERSCHOOL -- source link
