Roberto Sambonet, exhibition Do Brasil ao design, Sao Paolo, 2013 Sambonet is considered one of the great names in Italian post-war design. He lived in Brazil from 1948 until 1953 where he worked closely with Lina and Pier María Bardi. He created posters for the Sao Paulo museum and the fashion shows inspired by the emerging Brazilian spirit of the era. It was a period during which he delved into psychiatry and explored its fields in relation to the artist. The show brings together his work for Baccarat, Seguso, Murano e Tiffany and Bing & Grondhal as well as the graphic design consulting he did for Pirelli, Alfa Romeo and Renault. -- source link
