midgethetree: It turns out Maxis made all the mesh and texture resources needed for accessory earmuffs and mittens and then just… didn’t make them? The earmuffs got reused as part of some outerwear-only hairstyles, but I think the mittens were completely lost until now. These come in two versions, accessories or jewelry. The accessory versions are categorized for everyday and outerwear. The jewelry versions of the earmuffs are binned as eyebrow rings and the mittens are binned as right-hand bracelets. They’re available for toddler to elder, with the exception of the blue earmuffs, which are teen to elder. Everything’s pinned to and requires seasons. The earmuffs do clip a bit with poofier hairs - it was even worse before I got the idea to nab the modified earmuff meshes from those earmuff hairs I mentioned and making them override the accessory earmuff meshes. Now I think it looks acceptable on the majority of hairstyles I’d expect it to work with. If you want the modified mesh that’s what’s in “midgethetree_SSNearmuffs-meshreplacement”. The mittens also may clip/look weird with some animations, as you can see in the preview pic, but overall it’s not that bad IMO.I also highly recommend if you want the accessories version of the mittens to first get the jewelry version, go into CAS and load all the mitten thumbnails, and then exit the game and swap in the accessories version.Mediafire / SFS -- source link
