A new life update:I am about to start a new position as a seasonal program animal keeper at a new facility! I start tomorrow, and the position is for a minimum of four months. I am actually a paid keeper, though a temporary one, which I feel is an ideal next step after my other positions. I am pretty nervous, but excited too! New species to work with, new co-workers, and a completely different state to experiance! I will be doing husbandry, training, and animal handling for a variety of zoo programs, and maybe even performing in shows…. -- source link
