WIP. I’ve just taken a work I started in 2017 out of my box with wips and caught an irresistible will to finish her, so you can see her getting her hair little by little. She is all metaphorical: her upper face part of a young woman - and a skull on below showing the time which always makes changes and leads us to the same final; a keyhole to something dark but still filled with starlight and thin moon crescent as a piece of hope for something is behind the point of our bodies’ death - but a hole is too small to get any understanding by just taking a look through it. On the one hand the keyhole is placed on the point where, as some believe, third eye is to be located, but on the other hand - it shows that it all is in human mind and imagination and may have nothing in common with reality. The moon crescent and stars give too little light to see what is really here (and is it anything at all) but let us dream (usually emotions become way stronger at night while the mind is sharper daytime). The keyhole itself makes think of a secret locked in there - and it is another direction of thinking about the doll’s meaning. When finished, she will also have cloths and accessories adding more meanings. I love this doll so much already, it’s wonderful to know that all of you may hear her in your own way.
