Quartzite Head of AmunGod of Amun inscribed on the back pillar with the Horus name of Tantamani discovered by Francis Llewellyn Griffith, the first professor of Egyptology at Oxford, at Sanam, Sudan. Made from carved dark brown quartzite. Third Intermediate Period, 25th Dynasty, ca. 770-715 BC. Now in the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford. -- source link
