Magic October Day 2: CyberpunkMore witches and unicorns :) This pair is called Noise (girl) and Virus (unicorn). Noise is not her real name, it’s the handle name she goes by as a notorious magic hacker. She lives in a corrupt, closed down city overrun by technology, both good and bad, and uses her tech magic in order to sneak into high security bank accounts or police records to steal money and info, both of which she funnels into various resistance groups. She doesn’t belong to any particular group herself, preferring to stay in the shadows and equally spread what she gets between all of them, so that they have a better chance of opening up their locked down city.Virus is an extremely strange unicorn belonging to a group tentatively called Urban Unicorns. Urbans have only recently started appearing; unlike most unicorns who are drawn to natural areas, Urbans, as the name implies, are found in synthetic environments. Virus is specifically a Cybernetic, a type of Urban known for its circuitry designs and horns that look as though they’re metal prosthetics. They’re drawn to sources of electricity, and have the ability to slip into the world of cyberspace itself. Cybernetics are rightly despised by anyone who might use cyberspace or technology for evil purposes, as they can easily hone in on corrupt dealings and can dissolve code with a stamp of their hooves. -- source link
