Nearly 2,000 people from war-torn countries are arriving in Greece each day seeking refuge and safety. They’re boarding small boats or dinghies filled far beyond capacity and are carried to islands in the Greek archipelago. The crossing is treacherous and more than 400 people have drown since January.Samaritan’s Purse is working in Athens and across five islands to provide shelter, blankets, water, food, backpacks, and other support.
