Slight changes in the azureus vivarium!1.) I was tired of waiting for the moss to grow, so I just threw in my tried-and-true Soleirolia on the bottom of the viv, which has already spread twice its size in a span of 2 weeks. (Moss has a way of taking forever to grow, and then randomly taking off very fast after, like, a whole year, in my experience. I’m never patient enough to wait that long.)2.) After producing a lot of new growth and seeming to do well, all the Peperomia in the center-back of the viv just died off out of nowhere. So I replaced it with a red Neoregelia that I found on sale. I think it’ll do fine, but if it doesn’t, I’m just going to take it out of the tank and put it in a pot, because it’s too pretty to let die. Also trimmed up the Begonia because it was significantly shading out that part of the tank, hindering the spread of the Soleirolia. These pics were taken right after I did major excavation in their tank, so the frogs are a little freaked out and hiding. Circled where they’re hiding in the top picture, because it’s cute how they’re peeking out like that. -- source link
