theblameisonme:So it’s time. It’s time for Album 5, which soon we won’t have to call “Album 5” anymore because it will have an actual name and an actual cover… An actual single and an actual track list. There will be a new tour, there will be a new look, and there will be new fans. There will be new videos, new jokes, new URLs and new icons. There will be a new “Never Ever” and a new “All Too Well”. I think we all have to realize that even though yes, all of this is new, it isn’t replacing what happened in the last two years. It’s an addition, and it’s scary, and as much as it’s scary it’s also exciting. We all have one thing in common, and that is Taylor. She is who we look up to, she is our favorite singer, and she is like a big sister and a best friend to all of us- whether we’ve met her or not, and even whether we’ve seen her live or not. She will bring us into this new era which we will grow to love and cherish as much as we did the Red Era, the Speak Now Era, and so on. In another two years we will feel the same way about the far-off “Album 6” which is crazy and wonderful. For now though, let’s say a bittersweet goodbye to the Red Era and appreciate what it has given us, and what it has taught us. Most importantly, it’s time to trust Taylor to make the new era as special as the ones we have left behind. -- source link
