Portal’s Wheatley Part 25: January 2019 We’ve finished painting the logos onto the circles for the sides of the companion cube. We made a stencil by enlarging an image of the aperture logo, printing, and cutting out the design with an exacto knife. We tried spray painting the logo, but there was too much bleeding on the sides. We eventually traced the stencil onto all 6 circles (5 sides and an extra for the top to cover the hole when not using the pole) and hand painted the design with the same dark grey paint we used on the body of the cube. These circles will be mounted onto the plastic circles with small screws. We should have the cube done shortly, and after that it’s back to Wheatley himself full time-a much slower going process unfortunately….. As much of a pain in the butt cutting 69 individual pieces of wood was, it admittedly went pretty fast.  -- source link
