Ok but a rattman game would be super fun, crawling around ducts and back areas, and avoiding cameras and suchPORTAL: RATTMANN Oh my god, I am always saying that Valve needs to seriously create that now!I don’t know how you guys might imagine such a game, but hear me out: Chell’s story might have a really satisfying ending (and I know Valve also loves to treat Doug like their own little Schrödinger’s cat, both alive and dead at the end of Lab Rat), and sure, why mess with that? - but how much fun would a stealth gameplay Portal prequel with Doug Rattmann as the main protag be, around the story of Aperture’s epic massacre? Not to mention that being inside Doug’s head in and of itself would put a very interesting spin on an otherwise already familiar environment (and not a whole lot of content creators have been brave enough to tackle something like that, so it would definitely be a challenge and a bold move for Valve - but for how well they’ve handled Doug’s character so far, I have faith in them). And the Companion Cube would drop hints to you throughout the game, and if something ever happened to your cube, you’d have to find a way to hack into / break the diversity vents for another, and just ahhhhhh there is so much potential there for another Portal game and I would be over the moon VALVE, I BEG -- source link
