DID SOMEONE SAY HPHM FAN KIDS????I saw so many people making fan kids for their mc and/or Jacob, and I always love an excuse to get attached to new characters dsahdkjSo meet Pandora’s children, Jaqueline (who prefers “Jackie”) and Rook, and Jacob’s kids, Morrigan and Corvus!More about them under the cut! (because I like to rant incoherently dsahk)Jaqueline (Jackie):Pandora’s eldest and only daughter (for now, we’ll see if I feel the need to add more kids hdask)! She admires her mother and Uncle Jacob a lot, and wants to be like them when she grows upBecause of this, she has a fascination for mysteries, and values the truth, no matter how brutal it isOf course, being the daughter and niece of two famous former Curse Breakers, she also feels pressured to be just as great. Thus she has a tendency to pull all-nighters, work herself ragged, and constantly compare herself to her mother and uncle. She wanted so desperately to be a Slytherin to follow in their footsteps, but the moment the Sorting Hat touched her head, it screamed “RAVENCLAW!”Even though she was very disappointed at first, it didn’t stay that way for long. She’s naturally curious and inquisitive, so she truly found herself among those who understood her pursuitsHer best friend is Lorelai, daughter of Archer Just and Kaito Nadir! Lorelai’s parents are best friends to Pandora’s distant cousin, Christina Boulregard. (Lorelai is currently a WIP, so I’m not sure what house to put her in…). Lorelai is very friendly and optimistic, but also down-to-earth, which helps keep Jackie from doing anything too stupid. This, of course, means that Lorelai is Jackie’s go-to person for all adventures. She doesn’t mind thoughShe’s friendly, sociable, adventurous, optimistic, and popular, but in her quest for knowledge and glory, she tends to also be hypocritical, selfish, nosy, insensitive, and stubbornShe has absolutely no filter and will be brutally honest no matter whatShe loves Muggle culture and is particularly obsessed with detective shows, movies, etcShe loves her younger brother Rook but likes to tease him endlessly. They also have a lot of arguments because he can’t understand her obsession to be like their mother and uncleShe knows all the gossip in school but doesn’t like spreading information without knowing 100% if it’s trueShe’s in the frog choir along with the other three childrenShe is a Legillimens like her mother, which she is quite proud ofHer best subject is Charms, and she is the top student in all her classesShe gets along best with MorriganRook:Unlike his sister, Rook resents the fame that comes from being Pandora’s son and hates being constantly compared to her and Uncle JacobDon’t get him wrong, he loves his family unconditionally and would do anything for them, but whereas his sister works so hard to meet those expectations set upon her, he has already given up. He sees no point in trying to attain an impossible dream, and he knows what his mother and uncle went through. He doesn’t have a death wish, thank you very much. It’s because of this attitude and mindset that it came to a surprise to everyone when the Sorting Hat, after nearly four agonizing minutes, chucked him into Hufflepuff, the hardworking house. As it turns out, he only acts lazy, selfish, cynical, and heartless. In reality, he is actually hard working, determined, and extremely loyal. He has a heart of gold, and simply dislikes attention. He helps people subtly, and is uncomfortable with praise. He’s also just…generally bad at expressing emotions hdsakdhHe’s a very good listener and is very perceptive. He’s anti-social, cautious, and cunning, but also has a tendency to be stubborn and argumentativeThough he prefers to keep out of trouble, he will not hesitate to protect his loved ones, no matter the costPeople tend to label him a delinquent, even though he happens to have the cleanest record out of the four childrenHis inferiority complex is what causes him to naturally gravitate towards his distant cousin, Miyako Boulregard (design and name also a WIP), who happens to also be a Hufflepuff and has the same problem as him, being Ascian Boulregard’s daughter. They like to meet up just to rant and exchange witty banterHis best subject is Transfigurations, and he learned how to become an Animagus in his second yearHe loves his sister dearly, but gets easily frustrated because she keeps trying to make him be the Jacob to her Pandora. Her nature makes it impossible for him to get it through her head that he doesn’t want anything to do with that. He’s a member of the frog choir and has the best singing voice of the four children. On top of that, he has a love for the piano. He is either really good or really bad on a broom depending on the day, and there is really no in between. He looks really sleep deprived, but he takes the most kips out of all four of them dshakdhHe has a very dark sense of humor and tends to unnerve people sometimesHe seems pessimistic, but he’s really just practical and realistic. He’s willing to try if he thinks he has an actual chance, but he won’t bother if it’s not worth the effortThe most likely to forgive, but never forget. He doesn’t believe in the idea of revenge–mostly thinks that it’s illogical and can only do more harm than good–but his trust is easily lost and hard to regainCan be moody and snappish at times, but knows when he is in the wrong and will always apologize when he cools down a bitSeems the least like Pandora on the surface, but in reality he is probably the most similar at the core when it comes to motivations, morals, and valuesCorvus:Like his cousin Jackie, Corvus highly admires his father and auntHe’s cunning, ambitious, and vicious, which is why it came as a great surprise when the Sorting Hat yelled “GRYFFINDOR!” upon touching his headAt first he was very distraught because, like, Gryffindor is the rival house of Slytherin. He was super upset, until his dad told him that he himself was almost put into Gryffindor. That made Corvus feel a lot better, so he started embracing his Gryffindor side a bit more.Despite being a Gryffindor though, he isn’t very chivalrous. In fact, he’s quite selfish and often rudeHe’s a glory hound and loves being at the center of attention. He hates it when the spotlight isn’t on him, which can cause some annoyance for Rook, who he hangs out with the mostOn that note, his personality makes him hard to like. He tends to stick with Rook most of the time because of it, since out of the three others he’s the same age and quite used to his antics.Despite their polar opposite personalities, the two get along well. Rook is one of the only people Corvus is willing to put aside his pride for. He’s a braggart and overly dramatic. Rook usually has to be the one to keep his ego in check (it doesn’t work most of the time, but at least he can get the truth out too rip)He’s sarcastic and arrogant with a mean jealous streak. He’s very morally grey, and hardly does anything for the benefit of others unless it’s family.Reckless and quick to anger. He’s very hard headed and impulsive. He leaps first before thinking about the consequences in the desperate pursuit of being like his dad Crows like him. No one knows why, not even him. Though, he will claim that it’s because he’s the chosen one. The reason why he was sorted into Gryffindor was probably for his bravery, if anything. He doesn’t back down from a challenge. He will be the first to volunteer for a job that would make most people hesitate or downright refuse. He’s a thrill seeker. He’s a hoarder like his dad, but also a kleptomaniac. Rook usually knows what he stole though, and is often able to convince him to give it backReally, Rook is like 99% of his impulse control and most of the time he seems to follow that 1% telling him to chug the firewhiskey, consequences be damned. The only other people he listens to other than his dad, aunt, and Rook is his older sister and his dad’s cousin, Ascian Boulregard. His sister because he loves her with all his heart (even if he is quite envious of her), and Ascian because she scares him dsjadjaLike his sister and cousins, he’s in the Frog Choir. He claims he’s the best singer, but is really outshined by the other fourAn excellent flier! He’s Gryffindor’s Seeker, since he’s small but fast! Though, he’s pretty terrible at any other sports dsakdsadsfcMorriganCorvus’s older sister, loves him dearly,Morrigan seems very nice and helpful, and is always very polite. That’s why everyone was floored when the Sorting Hat screeched “SLYTHERIN!!!” after just barely brushing her head.I mean, she’s so calm and collected and never seems to falter. She’s very polite and modest too! She’s so nice and helpful, and acts like an older sister to the younger students regardless of House! She’s like the carbon copy of her aunt! How can she be Slytherin?Well, that’s House prejudice talking as well as ignorance, because she’s very ambitious and cunning, and if they really knew Pandora then they would know that too. She plans on being high up in the Ministry one day, perhaps even Minister of MagicPeople also don’t realize that she’s got a vindictive streak like no other. Revenge is the sweetest for her. And unlike when Pandora was her age, Morrigan is neither naive nor gullible. She’s much more manipulative than her aunt too, and is less remorseful about it too. Pandora manipulates if it’s the only way. Morrigan Manipulates if it’s the best way. She’s a good liar. She knows what she wants and how to get it effectively.Basically, she seems the most like Pandora on the surface, but definitely has Jacob’s darker traits. She’s very perceptive, which is useful for both helping out her family and finding out the weaknesses of her enemiesOf course, being the unofficial babysitter of the Valentines means she deserves a friend her age too, which is where Gabriella comes in! She’s Christina Boulregard’s daughter, and they’re in the same year together! (also still a WIP)A natural prodigy with near photographic memory. She’s also really good at nonverbal magic. She admires her father and aunt a lot, but instead of wanting to be exactly like them, she’d rather learn from their mistakes the be even better than they were. Don’t get me wrong, she thinks they’re great; she just wants to be the greatestShe’s a great flier! She’s a Chaser for Slytherin’s team! She’s not a hoarder like her dad and brother, but she does like shiny things. Also on the frog choir. Among the four of them, her singing voice is beaten only by RookShe’s a good friend but a fearsome foeA great listener. Her family and friends tend to go to her to vent.In fact, every week she made it mandatory for her brother and cousins to meet up just to catch up and get any negative feelings out the way. It mostly turns into Corvus going off on tangents about the people in his house (featuring a mini cameo of @jadeowl19‘s Lyx!) -- source link
