This is how many states are testing way below the level needed to get a hold of covid-19 and states that are doing an adequate or good job testing large numbers of people. (source 7/15/20) Arizona has a 26% positive test rate and they’re only testing 10% of the people they need to be. Florida has a 19% positive test rate and they are only testing 15% of the people they need to. For every positive test that are likely at least 10 people who are infected and have not been tested. 10,000 positive tests a day means that it’s possible there are 100,000 new cases each day. That’s why the positive test rate is so high. That’s why it’s spreading so quickly. Please take care of yourselves and others. -- source link
