I am sure there are/were many, many, many moments in the course of Steve’s life in which Bucky said things like, “I’m with you to the end of the line” (the fact that he uses it in that scene and that Steve uses it in the fight with Bucky at the end suggests that phrase was something they said to each other more than once), but the one that we see IS HIS MOTHER’S DEATH.
