I’ve never felt this more than at this exact moment in life as I lay in bed crying over some deeply rooted parental shit… Oh my God. I’m begging folks in my generation that are having children/planning to have children to stop the cycle of mentally, emotionally and physically abusing your children. What ever trauma you have going on inside you, needs to be corrected. We don’t need to raise another generation full of anxiety and other mental illnesses that stem from abuse. Please, unpack your problematic tendencies. Learn how to speak to your children instead of hitting/yelling. -- source link
