lucianalight:tomhiddleston-loki:Thor ragnarok alternative scene One of the differences in the deleted scene compared to what we saw in the movie, is Thor’s and Loki’s positions when they are facing a threat. In the previous movies, Loki always positions himself on Thor’s right. So imo the deleted scene is more accurate in this matter, according to canon. I think @icyxmischief has written a meta about how Loki positions himself in their group in Thor1. But I couldn’t find it to link to it.Another thing that I like more in the deleted scene is how close Loki and Thor stand side by side when facing a threat which is again more like previous movies. Also Loki is directly in Thor’s lightening blast but it doesn’t hurt him and he knows it won’t. Ohhh yeah that was a long time ago but I recall saying something to the effect of Loki being the one who flanks the battle group in order to strategize and pick out best forward maneuvers for the group as a whole, necessitating that he thinks both logistically and sneakily, in order to put himself in the shoes of the enemy. Delightfully, that’s another thing that comes back in the deleted scene. These are great observations. -- source link
