My husband takes me shopping and you can not get into the disabled changing room because they use it as a stock room. Or they mark the changing room as disabled and have it all kitted out and let anyone use it and say “Oh but we have never had a disabled customer” Oh, I am sorry am I not meant to like clothes because I am disabled? We should be represented but you never see anything apart from the odd shop using disabled models. I have cried on so many shopping trips because of the looks I get, the fact I can not get into a changing room, or having to wait 15 minutes for the disabled changing room whilst a group of friends are laughing and taking selfies and walk out with 1 top between them all. I am not comfortable in my chair even though I am sitting down, I am also not someone to be looked down upon.
