(Tuesday, 27. May) As mentioned in my previous post, we went to have lunch at the same yakiniku place again. After paying our bill we thanked the waiter for the delicious meal and he then procured the tiniest origami crane ever from his wallet and gave it to us. It’s really quite amazing, folding a crane in such a small size with such precision (pointy tips and all). I guess he remembered us from the day before and was happy that we chose to eat there again :) Well fed, we did a bit of shopping. Odaiba offers several malls, of which we didn’t even manage to discover half. It’s really a leisure paradise. I bought a guidebook for the latest Harvest Moon game and some gifts, and was very tempted to buy half of the stuff at Toys'R'Us (pictures will follow). Then we headed to Akihabara. Just as last time, it was quite overwhelming in its crowdedness and abundance of shops. Had a look around some of the shops selling figurines ( I really want a Kill la Kill one), some gaming halls and a shop that sold gaming consoles and such. I was quite tempted to get a used (=cheap) Japanese 3DS so I would be able to play the new Harvest Moon without having to wait for it to come to Europe (if it ever does). Still toying with the thought, and if my boyfriend ends up buying a PS4 I’ll have a good excuse to get that 3DS for myself :p Since it was our last day at Hotel Nikko Tokyo, we used our Spa coupons to have a dip in the pool, as well as the outside jacuzzi with a view of the bay. Couldn’t take a picture there, but it was sorta like this, only at night. -- source link
