I officially came out to my Mom as trans just about a year ago. She has had a really hard time understanding, and if you know my Mom, you’d know that her not understanding isn’t anything new. Lol. She has made tiny strides over the past year, she saved my number in her phone as “Cameron”, but continues to dead name me, pronouns are almost an untouchable subject, but I know that she loves me unconditionally, and she is trying as hard as my Mom can.
