(ive messed about with a couple different methods but at this point I have to admit it’s just faster for me to THINK about colors as a multi-plate process, even if it’s a weird way to use the digital tools. 
I am also doing Inktober but I’m taking it less to-the-letter than last year. tbh I’ve been re-weighing my balance between printmaking and strictly drawing projects lately, which isn’t bad I don’t think! but it does mean im very used to working slowly these days, chipping away at a thing and walking away, and I need quite a bit of time to warm up to drawing people when I return to it. anyway week one has mostly been timed sketching! super refreshing. I may get into longer pen drawings later & dump better sketches in a pile.) -- source link
