GENERAL UPDATE: Shipping, Sicking, SippingHello my little pecan sandies.Almost a week ago I came down with what is probably the nastiest virus I’ve encountered in a year. It is only by the grace of Satan that I’m not puking or shitting in addition to the symptoms (the motherfucking symptoms) that I do have, which progressed, today, to blowing blood out of my sinuses. The fever and listlessness could be anything really; I mean, “Hot n’ Lazy” was my nickname in middle school.A Canadian friend (bless their little nationalized hearts) asked me, “Have you seen a doctor yet?” and I just sort of gibbered through bloody foam until they closed the video chat.WHAT I’M SAYING IS, I wasn’t terribly caught up with shipping in the first place, but this has put me solidly behind, even by the standards of Feckless Oakland Socialist that usually guide my conduct/lack thereof*.THAT SAID, orders that finally got into the mailbox today include Tony G., Jack M., Tim K. and Alex K.* I know someone is going to take this seriously so let me just say, yes, of course I’m working my ass off, although never as hard as I’d actually like and always in the midst of battles with depression, mites, reverse rickets, et al -- source link
