RadAsians in Solidarity with ‪#‎Baltimore‬When the system fails to listen to peaceful protests, we make more noise.To stand idly is to comply with the cycle of White Supremacy. We stand with Black communities to abolish it.As we see anti-Blackness within our own communities, it is important that we interrogate and work to address our own complicity and actively support Black communities. RadAsians stands with protesters in #Baltimore and across the nation, and supports their rage against an oppressive system that has historically killed, suppressed and stolen from them. We believe that dismantling anti-Blackness is at the root of oppressive narratives such as the model minority myth that affect Asian-American communities. -- source link
