In one of his comic sketches Albert Guillaume focused on eccentric women who took their fashion cues from men’s wardrobes. One panel has the image of an intrepid-looking woman, a cigar in her mouth, in men’s evening dress: a coat and tails, a starched shirtfront, and a high collar.
