Minoan clay pyxis (cylindrical vessel with lid), depicting a man in a long robe (possibly a priest) playing a guitar-like instrument while surrounded by birds, so-called “horns of consecration,” and double-axes. Artist unknown; ca. 1300-1250 BCE (Late Minoan IIIB). Found in the district of Aptera, Crete; now in the Archaeological Museum of Chania. -- source link
