Today I had lunch at a sushi train in Kyoto, where you pick the pieces you want off a conveyor belt. In the states I normally avoid sushi trains like the plague, but I was curious if they were any better in Japan. It definitely wasn’t the best sushi I’ve had here, but it was pretty decent (a heck of a lot better than sushi trains in the US). One thing that was pretty cool is that they had hot water spouts around the counter so you could serve yourself green tea. Blog about Japan?
