allofthefeelings:cipheramnesia:allofthefeelings:HOT TAKE: What if Goose foresaw that Nick would need to have a generally-out-of-commission eye during Cap2, and was doing his job to save the world 15 years in advance? This would mean that Goose does not experience linear space time as we know it. Given that in order for Goose to be able to produce his tentacles and consume the amount of both mass and energy he does without exploding (he swallowed an infinity stone for like a month), it therefore stands to reason that Flerkins as a species must to some extent have the ability to distort what we perceive as three dimensional space. With the sheer added raw energy of an infinity stone, perhaps Goose was able to take this inherent part of Flerken biology and convert his spacial manipulation into both space and time. And because the fundamental mechanics are inherent to Flerkens, we could speculate he retains this ability even after expelling the stone. Additionally, this means the Goose is able to experience and perceive all of so called linear space time simultaneously. This further means that, while we perceive Goose as having briefly eaten the infinity stone, from his perspective he in some sense ALWAYS HAS IT. Consequently I feel it’s safe and logical to conclude that Goose is a godlike immortal entity aware of all events at all times in the MCU and his actions as we see them are what he has determined will best serve the future of the universe. No canon directly CONTRADICTS Goose as eldritch being and as a result I think we can just unequivocally accept it as canon. -- source link
