magicalhomesandstuff:I’ve always been fascinated by the Loch Ness Monster and even had Nessie Cam on my desktop, but when it’s daytime here, it’s night in Scotland, so all I’d see was dark water. Anyway, if you want to search for Nessie, a good place to start is the Loch Ness Centre. Exhibits are educational and interesting to kids. There have been various vessels employed to search for Nessie, over the years, and one even looked like the Beatles Yellow Submarine. There’s also a fiberglass likeness of Nessie, herself. She looks like a Plesiosaur, but last month I saw a special on TV that claims they solved the mystery and she’s actually a giant eel. I have to admit, there’s a close resemblance. Notice the sly smile. But, of course what I love is the swag. And, they have it. There’s a ton of cuddly Nessie plush. Clothing and household items. And, a whiskey dept. Apparently, Nessie enjoys a good stiffener.Bye, y’all come back now, y’hear? (Well, I never could do a Scottish accent.)https://www.northeastfamilyfun.co.ukI can vouch for this place, it’s fabulous. -- source link
