My mother is Malay-Irish and my father is Caucasian American-Cherokee. I love every aspect of my ethnicity and i am proud to be able to be involved with the different cultures. The hardest aspect of being mixed is being told that i don’t look Asian and that i shouldn’t call myself Asian. Just because i may not look Asian to your standard doesn’t mean that i’m magically not Asian any more, i am still Malay no matter what you say. #beingeurasian #loveyouself -- source link
