I’ve been a mom to my own kid for 6 ½ months now. Things I’ve learned or accepted so far… 1. My hoodie strings will just have to remain uneven for now 2. It is no longer my water, it is our water. 3. If his fingers slowly moves towards my face, stop him, because he’s either sticking them up my nose, in my eye, or pulling a loc. 4. Don’t blink, because the milestone I was stressing about last week, he is now an expert at this week. 5. If he pushes a toy out of the way, don’t give it back because he will kick it next time to make it abundantly clear he doesn’t want/like it. 6. A cardboard box and a spatula are way more fun than the mechanical light up toy he can’t take apart. 7. He is the parenting manual and this is a live interview. https://www.instagram.com/p/CS3ELWxjU_z/?utm_medium=tumblr -- source link
