But it’s their love of painting that brings Bill and Fleur together one day in a gallery. And it doesn’t seem to matter to either of them that they can’t afford to live in a bigger flat–one that would give them space to organize the tubes of acrylics, unused canvases, and miles and miles of brushes. Or that some months there’s no cable because their newest project and vendor didn’t earn enough. It doesn’t matter that they probably won’t become a Picasso or Monet or Van Gogh. It doesn’t matter because without each other, there is no inspiration, no muse, no color.
