here’s an update on a story i posted a few months back. this little girl has been through enough already. she was getting teased relentlessly by her classmates and one day they took it too far by putting gum in her hair, or something of the sort, that made her parents have to go get her hair cut. she goes back to school the next day with much shorter hair. she was still getting teased so she asked her teacher to cut her hair again…..and the teacher did it. this little 6 year old girl went home practically bald and her father was shocked! this story was all over the news. i’m sorry but as a teacher, they should’ve addressed the bullying, not her hair. she didn’t even ask or tell her parents. i think they wanted the teacher fired but as of a few months ago, nothing was done. now it’s escalated to this. why can’t they let this little girl live and leave her natural hair alone?!? what are your thoughts? is 1 million too much? how do you put a price on damage such as this? it happens way too much to children of color!! what would you do if this was your child??? #repost via @mixxxedchicks #mixedgirlproblems #beautytuesday #donttouchmyhair #thecrownact https://www.instagram.com/p/CUF9hr3lbSZ/?utm_medium=tumblr -- source link
