my18thcenturysource: I was looking for a better photo of a gown I saw in a museum a while a go AND I ended up finding all this. I’m pretty sure many of you will find interesting (and even frightening! that lack of gloves!) the photos of the restoration of the dress. I even found a slightly similar dress in a portrait!
