startorrent02: the-real-eye-to-see: I honestly hate how Muslims are treated in America today. There are good and bad people everywhere! Just because someone is a Muslim doesn’t make them a terrorist! Seeing someone walking by in a turban doesn’t mean they’re gonna plant a bomb! We see someone who is dressed differently and we automatically think something negative and horrible about them and it’s wrong. We see someone who looks different instead of trying to get to know them we’re gonna call them a terrorist because we don’t understand it. If you’re a Muslim that makes you a human just like everyone else. #KhalidJabara#Islamophobia Errr…doesn’t the post say he is Christian? People who believe in the Islamic faith and Arab people are two entirely different things? Even if we are being well meaning if we can’t get that right, doesn’t that further illuminate the issue with how we actually view people of this ethnic background in the US? And turbans are generally worn by Sikhs, not Muslims. Apparently west and south Asia are all one area that is filled with Muslims and no one else. Who knew? /s -- source link
